Reed and Amy Flake both grew up in the small rural town of Gilbert AZ. Both enjoyed raising animals and country life that Gilbert provided back in the day. 

Reed and Amy have continued to enjoy rural country life while raising their children in Snowflake AZ where Reeds family have been ranching for generations.  Reed has enjoyed announcing Rodeos and other western events as well as making videos that have been rodeo household staples, such as…rodeo bloopers, winning edge instructional videos, the BFI, the George Strait team roping etc. Reed  has enjoyed announcing PRCA rodeos for 30 plus years. When he is not announcing he continues to enjoying ranching in northern Arizona. Reed and Amy also have a YouTube channel, RodeoReed, that they post videos twice a week for their more than 220k subscribers. 

Amy has been by Reeds side at rodeos playing music or timing for most of their married life. Amy tends to think in song lyrics and is always looking for the latest greatest song to add to the wow factor at the next rodeo. Other than staying home with the kids while Reed was on the road, Amy worked as a paramedic until their youngest child graduated and Amy retired from being a paramedic so she and Reed could spend more time together.  Reed and Amy have 3 children who have all married up so they now say they have 6 kids plus a total of 7 grandchildren.
